“ I've been trying to get my boyfriend to go here since they opened. He's not a big fan of Mexican food. I love it. Well last night for my birthday he took me here for dinner..it was great food, awesome service and the fastest I've ever seen..The host sat us at our table gave us our menus, the server was placing chips n salsa on our table within seconds. We told him what we wanted to drink..we were ready to place our order when he brought our drinks. Within 5-10 minutes are food was being served. I kid you not that is the fastest service I've ever had..The food was delicious. We definitely will be back again..loved the atmosphere as well. Our server was friendly checked on us a couple of times or looked at our table when he walked by. ”
“ Casa Mezcal is a hidden gem in the Bath/Hammondsport area! Whenever I’m in town for work, this is my go-to spot for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The nachos are absolutely incredible—crispy, loaded, and full of flavor. My personal favorite is the steak and cheese burrito, which is always perfectly seasoned and satisfying. The service here is top-notch. No matter how busy they are (and they’re almost always packed), the staff is attentive, friendly, and quick. From everything I’ve seen, the facility is very clean—from the dining tables to the bathrooms, which says a lot about how much they care about the customer experience. The staff is also some of the friendliest around—so much so that I once saw them take a picture off the wall and give it to a customer. Not sure if that was exceptional hospitality or just a strong night of tequila, but either way, it speaks to how much they go above and beyond! The atmosphere is lively, the decor is fun, and the mezcal cocktails are fantastic. If you’re looking for delicious, authentic Mexican food in the area, Casa Mezcal is a must-visit. “ The al pastor tacos were SOOO so good!! The two of us just shared an order. Flavorful meat in soft corn tortillas, and we added the rice and beans to the taco plus salsa verde and lime and they were DELICIOUS. Maybe the refried beans could use a little more flavor or something but that’s fine, there’s plenty of flavor in the meat and sides. The flan and churros were also really good but by then I was too stuffed. One suggestion would be to play Mexican music over the speaker instead of the pop they had playing. Really great, friendly service from the server, very fast, and all our food was cooked so fast too! ”
